Good morning, Ravi.

I understand that it was just a suggestion, and I hope I didn’t come across too harshly.

I just don’t understand why anyone would think I would want their keywords linked on my blog. I understand what they would get from it, but what is my incentive?

If someone is just looking for a keyword link, they’ll have to go elsewhere.

I’m much more interested in talking to real people, like you.

John, it was just a suggestion

But its OK if you don’t like it. Lot of people don’t like that plug in. Its just personal choice.

As I’ve said before, I don’t like the keyword luv plugin, so it would not be a win-win situation if I were to install it.

I added the Comments Policy page to the Pages menu in the top-left column, so it has a permanent home.

You may be right that I’ll need to reference that above the comments section, and I’ll look into doing that.

Yes, I want to be fair, but I’m tired of all the junk comments and people hiding behind keywords.

In your case, you’re grandfathered in. Sire is fine. If I saw Peter in the link, I wouldn’t know who it was!

Hey John, I think it’s great that you have upgraded your comment policy. I think all blogs should have one, both for the commentator and the blog owner as it helps them to maintain the quality of their blog.

As you know I have always gone by Sire, even though it isn’t my real name. I am pretty sure that you will still accept comments from me under that name as it isn’t a keyword. Even so, I will, whenever I remember that is, sign off with my real name.
