Good morning, Ravi.

I understand that it was just a suggestion, and I hope I didn't come across too harshly.

I just don't understand why anyone would think I would want their keywords linked on my blog. I understand what they would get from it, but what is my incentive?

If someone is just looking for a keyword link, they'll have to go elsewhere.

I'm much more interested in talking to real people, like you.

Act on your dream!

John, it was just a suggestion :)

But its OK if you don't like it. Lot of people don't like that plug in. Its just personal choice.

Good afternoon, Ravi.

Thanks for your comment and welcome to our discussions.

As I've said before, I don't like the keyword luv plugin, so it would not be a win-win situation if I were to install it.

It's just not going to happen.

Act on your dream!

Yep. Actually my given name is Pietro, which is Italian for Peter, but I've been referring to myself as Sire ever since my BBS days.

That is a good policy. You should get the keyword luv plugin.

It will keep posters and you happy. It is a good plugin and will create a win win situation.

Same here, my friend, which is why I finally came up with one myself. Short, but at least it's there.

Good evening, Mitch.

Sorry for the delay. For some reason, your comment was held for moderation. (?)

I added the Comments Policy page to the Pages menu in the top-left column, so it has a permanent home.

You may be right that I'll need to reference that above the comments section, and I'll look into doing that.

Yes, I want to be fair, but I'm tired of all the junk comments and people hiding behind keywords.

Act on your dream!

Good afternoon, Sire.

I do feel a bit better now that I have the new policy in place.

What? Your name is Peter? ;)

(You should have watched as I tried to wrap my brain around that one.)

In your case, you're grandfathered in. Sire is fine. If I saw Peter in the link, I wouldn't know who it was!

I'm not going to shut out my friends. I value and welcome your comments.

Hey John, I think it's great that you have upgraded your comment policy. I think all blogs should have one, both for the commentator and the blog owner as it helps them to maintain the quality of their blog.

As you know I have always gone by Sire, even though it isn't my real name. I am pretty sure that you will still accept comments from me under that name as it isn't a keyword. Even so, I will, whenever I remember that is, sign off with my real name.

Peter

Cool! Of course, now you're going to have to find a place to make this permanent, otherwise your new visitors won't know about it. I put the link at the top, and I also put a brief message over the comment area to check out the comment policy.

After all, you want to be fair and balanced, right? :-)
