Good afternoon, Thomas.

You're always welcome to your own opinion. ;)

I tend to like sites that are heavier on text than graphics, but I know lots of people who disagree with me.

For myself, it's partly a matter of bandwidth. I'm still on a slow dial-up connection back here in the mountains and it doesn't look like broadband will be coming to my area any time soon. So, I tend to prefer sites that don't have as many graphics or use as much javascript as other sites.

If I had lots of bandwidth, I may have a different opinion.

I haven't been to hubpages in a long time. Maybe I should go visit, soon.

Thanks for your comment.

Act on your dream!

Good morning, jeet.

That's a good idea about linking to new lenses, but I'm wondering if it would be any more effective than posting a SquidCast and pinging it or tweeting about the lens.

I don't have a definite opinion about this.

Thanks for the comment.

Good morning, Pat.

I agree with you. I always thought that the "Make a lens" link just threw us into the lens editor with precious little instructions or help.

I think linking to the main page would be better, or at least a new page with some more information before being thrown right into editing.

Act on your dream!

Squidoo homepage is definitely better organized now. It is also distributing homepage PR to categories nicely.

They should include a link to new lenses so that they get indexed fast and also get noticed by visitors. What do you say?

jeet´s last blog post..Free Directory List
