I am always looking for others in my area who are using Twitter and other social networking tools.
There aren’t many people in Murphy, NC who use the service, but a few more are coming online every month.
Today, I found a new tool at ChirpCity.com that helps find other local Twitterers.
Here’s the ChirpCity page for Murphy, NC. I found a few new people to follow there. I’ve bookmarked this page and will revisit it regularly.
If you see this and you are interested in Murphy, NC, you are invited to join us at our new Murphy, NC online community.

Wow, what a great site, I didn’t know something like that existed. I have been trying to find local Twitterers in my area for quite some time and I wasn’t sure how to accomplish it. Now I follow a bunch of locals and know more about my hometown than ever before! Thanks.

While I’m not quite sure I want to find others in my town, it’s a very cool tool none the less.

Good morning, Julie.
Welcome to our discussions.
I see that you’re a Realtor in the Waynesville area. We’re practically neighbors.
Are you on Twitter?
Thank you for your kind words and I wish you much success, too.

I can imagine, Murphy is a pretty small place. Chrip city is a pretty cool program though. Haha I live in a small place too (Pocono’s) its nice to know who is twittering locally.
