		<description>Good morning, Andrew.

Welcome to the discussion.

I guess it depends upon your definition of prosperity. I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say "driving traffic to a site that has nothing to offer except ads will unlikely bring porsperity to the owner."

I don't think I've ever advocated doing that and I know it's certainly not part of the Site Build It process.

Who do you think originally developed the whole C-T-P-M process? Ken Evoy did when he wrote "Make Your Site Sell" and this was several years before he and his team started developing Site Build It.

C-T-P-M means to write original high-value content that attracts free traffic from the search engines. Then presell the visitors by providing information of value and, lastly, monetize the site by linking to relevant products and services your visitors may be looking for.

Other forms of monetization include Adsense ads, site sponsorships, private ads, selling your own products, advertising your own services, affiliate marketing, sending leads to existing offline businesses, and doing many other things that result in real business.

Original content is always the responsibility of the site owner and I know of no set of tools that will do it for us.

The Site Build It process, however, does stress the importance of producing great content of our own and making it available to others.

Act on your dream!

<description>I agree that traffic is important, but driving traffic to a site that has nothing to offer except ads will unlikely bring porsperity to the owner.
I believe the most important part of any web-business is not even traffic, but interesting ORIGINAL (!) content. I doubt Site Build It! can offer that, or can they? ;-)
