I actually had my own brief scare back in 1997, as I had a lump. Mine was painful, and it had to be excised, but it wasn’t cancerous. Still, it makes you think.

Hi Mitch,

I know this is a serious subject and that breast cancer has hurt or killed millions of women, and some men.

I like how the Boobie-Thon takes a light-hearted approach to raising money for finding a cure for a serious problem.

The last I heard, they’d raised about $9,300, the most they’ve ever raised in their annual fundraising drive.

I’d like to mention that just because the Boobie-Thon is over, anyone who finds their way to this page can always donate to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Very nice, John. My wife's mother passed away from breast cancer, and other members of the family have had breast cancer. I always give something, and it's always nice seeing someone else highlighting it. Mitchs last blog post..Browser Shots
