I just smacked myself on the forehead! **smack**

(ouch!)

It's not because I "could have had a V8," either.

I don't know how I could have forgotten to link to my lensmaster profile on Squidoo!

Squidoo started out as a place where you could only build free webpages, but, over time, it has grown more and more into a social networking site and it currently has an Alexa ranking of 425. With the addition of the fan club, now it's easy to keep up with the other lensmasters and to socialize with them on their lenses.

It's not nearly the same as Twitter, FaceBook, a social networking community you can build on Ning.com, or even your own blog where you can carry on conversations with people who leave comments.

But, still, it's becoming much more of a social networking site in addition to offering more and better ways to build free webpages on the topic of your choice.

Maybe MyBlogLog will add Squidoo to their services one of these days. Does anyone here know how to reach someone there who has influence on what they do?

In the meantime, if you're not already a Squidoo member, you can join for free and start building lenses of your own and meeting others who are interested in the same things you are.

Act on your dream!
