I think most people who prefer to “do it yourself” fall into two broad groups…

• The tinkerers - people who prefer to play around with something until it makes sense. It is unlikely that they read instructions and prefer to “figure it out” all by themselves.
• The followers - people who prefer to learn from someone who already knows how to do what you want to do. They are more likely to read instructions and follow them.
